Zarko Arsov is a senior finance and investment professional with more than 20 years of international experience advising on the development, structuring, and financing of complex energy and infrastructure projects. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams supporting developers, sponsors, investors, lenders, utilities, government agencies, and multilateral institutions on transactions spanning conventional and renewable power generation, independent power producers (IPPs), transmission infrastructure, natural gas and LNG, transportation, and telecommunications.
Prior to co-founding Consensus Infrastructure, Mr. Arsov held senior positions with Tetra Tech, Meta Platforms, and Taylor-DeJongh, where he advised clients on projects across North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. His experience encompasses every stage of the project lifecycle—from early-stage project origination, market assessment, and feasibility analysis through commercial and financial structuring, due diligence, debt and equity fundraising, negotiations, financial close, construction financing, and commissioning.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Arsov has advised on energy and infrastructure transactions representing several billion dollars in investment value. He has worked extensively with commercial banks, export credit agencies (ECAs), development finance institutions (DFIs), multilateral development banks (MDBs), institutional investors, and private developers to structure and finance complex infrastructure projects.
Mr. Arsov has significant international experience with IPP projects across both developed and emerging markets, including Tajikistan, Tanzania, Romania, Serbia, Mauritania, Moldova, and the United States. His expertise spans project finance, project development, financial and commercial structuring, public-private partnerships (PPPs), investment analysis, procurement strategy, risk allocation, and stakeholder engagement. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing commercially robust, bankable projects capable of attracting private and institutional capital.
