Consensus Infrastructure Announces Strategic LNG Supply MOU for Balkans Power Project

Consensus Infrastructure ("CI") announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with a leading U.S. LNG supplier to support the development of its proposed gas-fired power project in North Macedonia.

The MOU represents an important commercial milestone for the project and establishes a framework for continued cooperation around LNG sourcing, delivery, and long-term fuel supply solutions. The agreement strengthens the project’s path toward delivering reliable, lower-emission baseload power to the region while supporting broader goals of energy security, fuel diversification, and economic development.

The project is intended to bring U.S. investment and technology help meet the region’s growing need for dependable power generation, while complementing renewable energy growth and supporting a more resilient energy system. Consensus Infrastructure will continue advancing technical, commercial, permitting, and financing work in coordination with regional stakeholders and international partners.

The MOU is subject to further negotiation and the execution of definitive agreements.
